The laboratory

Carbotech Motor Testing lab was realized with the purpose of providing technical support to the Company itself and to its large Customer base in the automotive and consumer market.

Thanks to the technology supplied, Carbotech is capable of testing a large variety of applications and is proactive in the development of increasingly performing materials responding to the growing demands of the market.

The main features of the Motor Testing lab are listed below:

• Design of suitable equipment for a wide range of applications

The motor testing lab is equipped with the following test benches:

Automotive business:

• HVAC systems
• Starters
• Alternators
• Climate chamber
• Small motors (e.g. wiper systems and window lifters of motor vehicles)

Consumer business:

• Power tools
• Vacuum cleaners
• Washing machines
• RFI chamber

In addition, the motor lab provides a test bench for the chemical characterisation of brushes which has been developed in cooperation with UNIVAQ (University of L’Aquila).

Such equipment allows for a swift evaluation of different materials (available in 24/48 hours) so as to offer quick and optimal solutions to the customers.
