THE EURO 500,000 CARBOTECH INVESTS IN DIGITAL MANUFACTURING

To date, the initiatives manufacturing Digital are supported by important fiscal measures relating to investments in operating assets, tangible and intangible, its Industry 4.0. The term  Industry 4.0  it indicates a trend of industrial automation that integrates some new production technologies to improve working conditions and increase productivity and production quality of the facilities.

The investment will cover the pressing departments, Sintering and Finish, through the acquisition of new machines interconnected and creating an infrastructure of computer link between each machine that will enable remote control using modern interface means.

Crucial will be the use of a computerized system linking machines, people and systems with each other, achieving the full integration of information, providing management of alert at several levels and production information always available, abolishing the use of paper.

The objectives (+ effciency -costs) concern an increase in productivity, reduction of lead time and waste, thus better performance, better customer service and better product quality.
